FYI, as of 3/23/2018, Japan’s MHLW (Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare) has approved Kyowa Hakko Kirin’s evocalcet (trade-named Orkedia) for the treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism in patients on maintenance renal dialysis. (You may recall that KHK licensed this drug from Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma in 2008 for co-development and co-marketing in Japan and parts of Asia.)
